S-Chassis VQ Swap Information
M O T O R S E T
The best option is a complete pull out from any RWD VQ car. 350z/G35 are the most common. If you are piecing parts together, make sure the parts are compatible.

M O U N T S
OEM VQ mounts do not work with the S-Chassis. You will need to fabricate custom mounts or choose one of the available options. We offer bolt in mounts for VQ to S-Chassis
W I R I N G | E C U
OEM VQ harness and ECU can be used with the S-Chassis, however, the ECU must be flashed in order to work correctly. The ECU must have NATS (anti-theft) disabled in order to start in a S-Chassis. The easiest way is to use Uprev Osiris. The VQ harness will need to be wired in to your S-Chassis. We provide a wiring and ECU service.
D R I V E L I N E
The driveline must be custom. There are many retailers that provide them. We will be releasing our driveshaft on the site very soon.
F u e l S y s t e m
A new fuel system will be needed to make use of the S-Chassis return-style system. There are many different ways of going about this. We made it easy with our HEXA fuel system.
P o w e r S t e e r i n g
The VQ pump is compatible with the S-Chassis steering rack. The VQ comes with a cooler directly from the factory. It is a must have for this swap. VQ and S-Chassis OEM parts can be retrofitted to work. We offer a bolt in solution for your power steering needs.
C o o l i n g s y s t e m
The VQ likes to stay cool in a S-Chassis. The easiest way is to use a KA24DE radiator. It is enough to keep the VQ under hard driving. Heater hoses can be routed to retain OEM heat controls. We offer a cooling hose kit that includes heater and radiator hoses.
I n s t r u m e n t C l u s t e r
You can use OEM S-Chassis cluster, VQ cluster, CAN BUS cluster, or individual gauges. Dakota converters will be needed to keep the S-Chassis cluster. The VQ cluster is available in our store, ready to wire in.
